About

Seasons and Stories: Finding Our Place Together
At Barefoot & Belonging, we tend a tranquil grove of words and memory—where each shifting season whispers its wisdom, and stories root us in connection. Through gentle reflection, we nurture a sense of place and reciprocity with the wild world that holds us.
We believe stories—like seeds—carry memory, resilience, and wonder. By sharing reflections tethered to the land’s rhythms, we reclaim our belonging and invite others into theirs.
Seasons Whisper, Stories Connect
Held by one voice, rooted in many stories.
Barefoot & Belonging is a solo offering—a space of reflection, ritual, and reconnection guided by my deep listening to land and season.

Teresa Howells
Land Listener & Word Weaver
Guided by the land’s whisper, this is where my own story begins — come trace the quiet footprints with me.
I’m Teresa—Guardian of Barefoot & Belonging, land-listener, and storyteller in service to seasonal remembering. This space isn’t just mine; it’s shaped by moss, memory, and the murmurs of those who came before.
These stories come like tide or root—ancient, insistent, and not quite mine. I gather them gently from moss and moonlight, from the remembering breath of those who walked this path long before. I believe the land speaks—and I am here to listen, and to offer its echoes in return.

Join the Circle-and help shape the Story
If you’re inspired by nature, moved by myth, and feel the pull of seasonal rhythms—if you love the land and resonate with our ethos—we’d be honoured to welcome you into our circle. This grove grows through shared noticing, gentle reflection, and the stories we carry together.
My mission is simple but deep: to create space for reconnection. Through reflective writing, digital rituals, and gentle courses, I invite others into a slower rhythm—one that honours the land, the self, and the cycles that hold us.
